Hakan Ertan, General Manager of EMESYS company, which produces and sells domestic 3D printers at much more affordable prices than their counterparts, noted that Turkey will soon make a difference with 3D printers in the construction industry, after countries such as the USA, China and Australia. Reminding that buildings are being built with 3D printers abroad, Hakan Ertan said, “Turkey is not at this stage yet. "In the future, we will do construction at the same speed as building construction models," he said.
Underlining that 3D printers will save both time and money in the construction industry, Ertan said, “Turkey has only been familiar with 3D printer technology for a few years. Therefore, building buildings with 3D printers is a bit of a remote possibility for now. "However, at least by using this technology, the time in the construction phases of construction models can be shortened and much more qualified work can be produced," he said.
